Debbie Sebolt – President & Owner
As the founder of Nickajack Farms, Debbie had a vision to educate children about agriculture. Having a degree in Elementary Education helps Debbie plan and execute field trips and learning experiences for children and their families. Debbie is also a certified florist and helps to make our Nickajack couples plan and create the perfect wedding or event on the farm. Whether she is in a barn teaching, creating flowers or even in a tractor, you can always find Debbie on the farm.

Joe Sebolt – Vice President & Owner
Joe started his farming career out years ago in Pennsylvania helping to grow and bale hay and taking care of livestock. When he and Debbie purchased Nickajack Farms a dream came true, a place to raise a family. Joe started out making hay and growing a few acres of pumpkins and Nickajack has continued to grow from there. Although Joe has an off-farm job, he is still very happy coming home and working on the farm. Farmer Joe, as you may know, can still be found working in the fields, in the shop, where he builds most of the attractions for the farm or even behind a cash register during Pumpkin Days.

Nathan Haut – Farm Manager
Nate came to the farm for a summer job between high school and college, he quickly became a valuable team member to Nickajack. As Nate finished his college career with a degree in history and education, he decided farming was his passion. Today, Nate is the Nickajack farming manager and has helped to grow the farm to what it is today. In August of 2021 Nate officially became a family member and married Debbie and Joe’s daughter, Amanda. In his free time, which isn’t much, you can also find Nate coaching the local high school basketball team.

Amanda Haut – Marketing
Amanda is one of three daughters to Debbie and Joe and grew up on the farm. Starting out cleaning animal stalls and showing horses, Amanda quickly grew into the role of farmer. Amanda will spend as much time as she can in a tractor, she loves working the ground. Amanda graduated from the University of Akron with a degrees in Marketing and Sales and has an off-farm job but she finds the time to do most of the marketing for Nickajack, manages our Pumpkin Days Festival, and continues to work weddings and special events.

Allison Schatzley – Lead Wedding Coordinator
Allison has been with Nickajack Farms for many years and has worked a wide variety of jobs on the farm. She graduated from Stark State College with a degree in early childhood education and is currently our head event coordinator. Allison helps our couples create the perfect day by managing our vendors and staff to make sure all visions are met. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping and bike riding with her husband and two children.

Jerrica Grace – Wedding Coordinator
Jerrica grew up in Canton, Ohio. After graduating from college in Pennsylvania with a degree in hospitality and culinary arts, she has spent the last 10 years working with multiple vendors in the event industry. During this time, she has gained extensive experience in event management and planning. Jerrica is known for being hands-on, creative, and organized throughout the event planning process. She believes that every event should be unique and tailored to the client’s needs. She is committed to making sure that everything runs smoothly, from the planning stages to the execution of the event. When Jerrica is not working, she enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her family and dogs.

Jessica Sebolt – Special Events Assistant
Jessica, the youngest of Joe and Debbie’s daughters, also grew up working on the farm. Jessica has worked very hard training and showing her horse and has competed in many shows. Jessica is one of our prime event assistants, she will work anything from a birthday party to a wedding and is the floor manager for Grandma’s Country Store during Pumpkin Days. Jessica is currently attending Walsh University and studying Accounting.

Rebecca Sebolt – Special Events Assistant
Rebecca is the oldest of Joe and Debbie’s daughters and grew up working on the farm and showing horses and has driven many tractors. Rebecca graduated from the University of Akron and Eastern Kentucky with her master’s degree in Safety, Security and Emergency Management. Rebecca takes farm safety seriously and makes sure our farmers do as well. Although Rebecca has an off-farm job that requires long days and on-call schedules, it does not stop her from working at various events on the farm as well as managing the entrance gate to Pumpkin Days to occasionally jumping on a tractor.
